Pita bread ( pizza and gyros)

 Pita Bread 

   For Pizzas and Gyros 





Ingredients 

1 cup of flour 

1/2 a cup of Greek yogurt 

1/2 teaspoon of baking powder 

1/4 teaspoon of salt 

1/2 tablespoon of olive oil 


Instructions 

🍳 Mix in a bowl flour, baking powder, and salt together. Add the olive oil to the Greek yogurt. 

🍳 Combine all the ingredients. Once the dough looks sticky, place it on a floured surface, and knead for a couple of minutes. 

 🍳 Make the dough into a ball, place it into a bowl, and let it rest for at least 20 minutes. 

  🍳Once the dough is ready, you can either use it for pizza or for pita 

    For Pizza

        🍕 Preheat the oven to 200-220 degrees. 

        🍕Cut the dough if you want 2 small pizzas or roll it into a medium pizza. Use a rolling                     pin or a bottle.

        🍕 Add tomato sauce and the toppings of your choice and bake it for 20 minutes. This recipe is for               a medium pizza or 2 small pizzas.  

   For  Pita 

           🥖Cut the dough into 4 pieces and roll each ball. In a hot and lightly greased pan, cook the pita f                or 5 minutes on one side and 3 on the other. The bread might puff.

           🥖 When it is ready put it in a clean cloth and cover it until you are going to eat it. It can also be                   freeze
